State of The Ont
Well now here we go again... a couple of months, time for an update in ye ole LiveJournal I guess.... Surprise, surprise, I am in fact still alive, obviously haven't really been around these parts much, though from what I hear not many people have been lately, guess the LJ phenom thing is dieing down.. That being said I have managed to read a lil bit over the last couple of weeks and throw the odd comment out here and there... There is quite a few of you that I actually do miss And the lack of real people nudity as of late can be a bit depressing ;-) It's just tough finding the time these days ya know?
Yesterday was my first official Fathers Day as a dad, it was a nice day all in all, I gotta admit I'm digging the whole Dad thing more and more. There's still lots of crying and she's starting to figure out tantrums can be fun if she doesn't get what she wants, but that stuff is so miniscule compared to all the good stuff that happens on a day to day basis.... Definitely one of those things that I never knew how awesome it was gonna be and how much it would change me until it happened.
The site is still taking up a lot of my free time these days, it was one of those things that LJ was kinda limiting at the time and so I started that thing and it grew and then grew some more and now it's more of a business thing these days than anything. it sucks cuz I miss the personal interaction that LJ has and blogging really can't touch that aspect of LJ. The podcasting thing though has turned out to be a lot of fun, and actually I've met a bunch of pretty decent people through that (btw if you're bored tonight we're doing our 25th show, more here). It's cool because you see how that whole thing is growing daily and people are doing more of the pod and video casting thing, and I guess by it's nature it's such a more intimate medium, it'll be interesting to see how that grows in the future....
What else, what else, ohhh ya.. had surgery a couple weeks back, I've had this long standing problem breathing through my nose, ya I know I know the fucking thing is HUGE you could fly a 747 between nostrils, how could you possibly have breathing problems, but I did.. Well anyway they took a drill to the thing and made some more room and SOMEHOW managed to break one of my teeth while doing that.. that part I haven't figured out yet... but slowly but surely I am able to breathe more and more and as a result smell and taste again. You never know how much you could missed that until it's given back to you...
Other than I'm rambling, I'll let you get back to your regularly scheduled stuff now, play nice and I'll see you sometime :)
